Job Description
- Define and execute the airline's revenue management and pricing strategy, maximising revenue, profitability, and market share across a complex route network.
- Lead forecasting, demand planning, inventory control, pricing architecture, and customer segmentation initiatives to optimise commercial performance.
- Drive the implementation and adoption of AI-powered pricing solutions, advanced analytics tools, and Business Intelligence platforms to improve decision-making and automation.
- Develop robust competitor benchmarking processes, identifying commercial risks and opportunities while recommending proactive pricing and revenue actions.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Digital, and operational teams to align network, promotional, and revenue optimisation strategies.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of Revenue Managers and Analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Define, monitor, and report key commercial and operational KPIs, translating complex analytical insights into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
The Successful Applicant
- Significant experience in Revenue Management, Pricing, or Commercial Strategy within aviation or other complex, capacity-driven industries.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, commercial optimisation, and business performance improvements within large-scale operations.
- Deep expertise in demand forecasting, pricing analytics, elasticity modelling, inventory management, segmentation, and revenue optimisation methodologies.
- Demonstrated success leading specialist teams and influencing senior stakeholders across matrix organisations and cross-functional environments.
- Highly analytical, technologically minded, and commercially driven, with strong leadership capabilities and practical experience applying AI to business challenges.
