Account Strategist, Performance Media DACH

What You’ll Do:
You know how to read a room, a dashboard, and a client’s roadmap all at once. You’re the kind of person who doesn’t just report performance numbers, you turn them into a story, a strategy, and a growth plan.
As an Account Strategist for Performance Media in our DACH team, you’ll own a portfolio of German‑speaking direct advertisers, acting as their strategic partner and primary point of contact at Criteo. You’ll turn performance data into growth strategies, spot opportunities before clients do, and build relationships that last.
Note: this role sits within Performance Media (retargeting, prospecting, upper funnel) and is distinct from Criteo’s Retail Media offering.
In your day‑to‑day you will:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of direct advertisers in the DACH market, from day‑to‑day communication to strategic QBRs
- Analyze campaign metrics (ROAS, CPC, revenue, margin) and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities and execute on them with a consultative approach
- Drive short‑term campaign performance through day‑to‑day optimization, while contributing to revenue growth and fostering long‑term customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Technical) to deliver the best solution for each client
Who You Are:
- Min. 1 year of experience in digital advertising, performance marketing, or a client‑facing tech role
- Fluent in German and English, spoken and written
- A strong communicator: clear, confident, and credible whether in writing, on a call, or in a C‑level meeting
- Analytically driven with an eye for turning data into strategy
- Consultative by instinct: you ask the right questions and turn challenges into opportunities
- Curious, self‑driven, and always looking to grow
