Global Health Economics and Outcome Researcher - VIE Contract

Overview

Global Health Economics and Outcome Researcher (VIE Contract). Location: Barcelona, Spain. Target start date: 01/11/2026. The assignment is part of the Sanofi iMove VIE program, available to EU citizens (EU+Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged 18–28. Applications must be submitted in English and through a personal email address.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute research studies supporting the clinical, economic and humanistic value of new AATD assets (burden of illness studies, epidemiology, literature reviews, network meta‑analyses, observational studies, economic evaluations, patient‑reported outcomes, etc.).
• Develop a robust evidence‑generation research plan with the HEVA Business Partner for pre‑launch, launch and post‑launch needs.
• Maximise product value propositions from both a global and regional perspective.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development and Regulatory).
• Set evidence‑generation priorities and direction, and incorporate them into planning documents.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR); experience in market access, pharmaceutical industry, consultancy, CRO or academia also considered.
• Strong customer focus, project management and analytical skills; ability to translate clinical and economic data into payer evidence strategies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross‑functional, global matrixed teams.
• Knowledge of health economics and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) reviews, including methods for observational data, epidemiology, meta‑analysis, indirect treatment comparisons and biostatistics.
• Master’s degree in health economics strongly preferred; degrees in sciences, pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, health policy or related fields also accepted.
• Fluency in English required; additional recognized certification (TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge) or professional experience in English‑speaking environments is a plus.
• Age and citizenship: EU/EEA citizens aged 18–28.
