We’re seeking for talented professionals to join our team in Barcelona / Madrid to deliver high-quality, insightful audits within Zurich’s P&C business. If you have a strong background in insurance industry and ideally in audit, we have an excellent opportunity waiting for you!

Your Role

As a Senior Auditor, you will work with members of the audit team across all aspects of an audit - working through sections of audit planning, scoping, assessing key risks, the design and operational assessment, and developing reporting. You will collaborate with audit team members across Group Audit. Working with the audit team, you will develop a deep understanding of the business and its risks. You will co-develop high-quality audit approaches including leveraging Data Analytics, assess IT fundamentals and leverage GenAI. And support reporting that provide key insights and influence stakeholders in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Nordic countries.

You will support a collaborative, learning, and team environment. You will contribute to strategic priorities and learn and apply innovative audit approaches, new world skills (Data Analytics, IT and GenAI) and Agile methods.   

Your main responsibilities will involve:

• High-Quality Audits : Support the delivery of audits to exceptional quality, on time and with impact. Leverage Data Analystic and GenAI, assess IT fundamentals throughout the audit process.
• Insightful Reporting : Contribute to the preparation of clear and impactful reports, findings and recommendations that support business improvement.
• Build Strong Connections : Build and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders across different business functions and countries.
• Foster a Learning Culture : Take an active role in your professional development, continuously expanding your business, technical and interpersonal skills.
• Leverage Data and Technology : Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to use data analytics, digital tools and emerging technologies, including GenAI, to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate As One : Work collaboratively with colleagues across teams, functions and locations to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Uphold Ethics and Integrity : Act as a role model for ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations and internal policies.

Your Skills and Experience 

• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Law, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Audit, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Compliance, Consulting, Finance, Governance, Operations or a similar environment. Experience in Financial Services or Insurance is an advantage but not required.
• Experience working in complex, international or fast-paced organizations is desirable.
• Understanding of risk management, governance, internal controls, operational processes or assurance activities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Curiosity, learning agility and motivation to develop new skills and grow professionally.
• Fluent verbal and written English.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to Insurance, Banking, Financial Services or other regulated industries.
• Interest in or experience with data analytics, digital tools, process automation, IT controls or GenAI.
• Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
• French or another European language is a plus.
