Senior Audit Manager

They need a Senior Audit Manager to direct comprehensive financial audits, assess internal controls, and ensure strict regulatory compliance. Oversee multiple client engagements, manage project budgets, and mentor junior staff while acting as the primary liaison between executive leadership and external stakeholders.

What will you do as a Senior Audit Manager?

Engagement Management: Plan, execute, and finalize multiple concurrent audit engagements, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and strict adherence to deadlines.
Team Leadership: Supervise and review the work of senior and junior auditors, provide technical coaching, and manage resource allocation.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all financial and operational audits comply with regulatory standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and internal controls, such as SOX.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong working relationships with client executives and audit committees, providing strategic financial insights and addressing complex accounting issues.
Risk Assessment: Identify business process risks, evaluate the adequacy of controls, and formulate recommendations for process improvements.
Business Development: Assist in profiling the firm, expanding industry expertise, and contributing to proposal development for new clients

What do you know that makes you a great Senior Audit Manager?

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred by larger organizations.
Active certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), ACCA, or chartered equivalent.
Previous experience of senior audit and accounting experience, ideally within a medium to large public accounting or Big 4 firm.
Advanced knowledge of auditing methodologies, excellent verbal and written communication, and strong time management skills.
