Customer Service Representative (German & English)

Job Summary

Donaldson is seeking a Customer Service Representative fluent in German and English to join our Industrial Solutions Customer Service team based in Terrassa, Barcelona. In this role you will act as a key point of contact for our customers in the DACH region, managing purchasing orders and building strong, long‑term relationships with assigned accounts. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure excellent service delivery and support continued market growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, monitor, and follow‑up customers’ purchasing orders.
• Ensure effective service and administrative support for the assigned customer.
• Provide delivery commitment to customers and follow‑up on order activity, alerting customers and the sales team in case of discrepancies.
• Manage invoice creation, corrections, and the return of material activities.
• Receive and process customer inquiries on standard pricing, lead‑time, products, and availability, through efficient and friendly communication to maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Coordinate internally with other departments such as sales, logistics, finance, and production to keep all parties aware of customer activities.

Relevant Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, administration, or logistics.
• Working knowledge of MS Office packages and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Oracle R12, incoterms, payment terms and CRM are an asset.
• Native level of German or C2 level. Fluency in English is required.
• Flexibility, ability to multitask, manage time and adapt to changes.
• Pro‑active attitude, ability to take decisions when necessary, and to be a time player.
