Position

Senior Product Manager, Remote Build – a 0→1 role shaping the next generation of AI‑enabled HR and finance interfaces by designing and scaling connector, SDK, and managed‑services products around Remote’s core platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own demand signals and unit economics, packaging and pricing Remote Build services for repeatability and profitability.
• Fast, fixed‑fee deployments of standard connectors to streamline customer onboarding.
• Build and productize new bespoke connectors, deciding which become reusable modules.
• Develop custom apps and agents with customers on top of Remote’s APIs, MCP, and CLI; codify patterns into reference architectures and starter kits.
• Productize the managed‑services playbook, creating reusable processes and customer‑facing surfaces that scale on leverage.
• Partner across Remote Build leadership, platform product teams, GTM, and customer success to set up technically and commercially successful engagements.
• Translate Build engagements into actionable insights for platform and feature teams to improve APIs, MCP, CLI, and overall product.

Qualifications

• AI / agents fluency: experience shipping agent‑facing or AI‑native product surfaces and a clear view of how APIs serve non‑human consumers.
• Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code; ability to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code and prototypes.
• Senior‑level Product Management experience with a record on platform, API, or developer‑facing products.
• 0→1 product builder: proven experience standing up a new product line or business from scratch.
• Commercial mindset: ability to evaluate connectors, SDKs, and managed‑service lines for revenue, gross margin, and retention.
• Outstanding customer‑facing communication and collaboration skills; build trusted relationships, lead discovery, and align cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Technical fluency with APIs, REST, Webhooks, OAuth, and platform security choices; able to read partner docs and identify risks.
• Strong UX sensibilities; design connectors, apps, or agents that feel effortless to the end user.
• Strategic and tactical judgment: prioritize features and scope effectively.
• Business‑level proficiency in writing and speaking English.
• Domain advantage (nice to have): experience with HRIS, payroll, or fintech platforms such as Workday, HiBob, Personio, BambooHR, Greenhouse, Netsuite, Merge, or Finch.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $149,750–$168,500 per year, adjusted for location. Remote ensures fair, unbiased pay and equity. We foster internal mobility, reviewing any compensation changes in collaboration with the Total Rewards team.
