With offices across North America (Canada, the US, and Mexico), Asia (Singapore), and Europe (the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands), we serve over 66,000 clients worldwide.**By combining global reach with deep local market expertise, Monex enhances businesses with a suite of financial solutions and FX market analysis to help optimise efficiency, mitigate currency risk, and protect margins in an increasingly complex financial landscape.***Key Responsibilities****Core Banking Product Ownership*** Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the core banking platform and its ecosystem.* Act as Product Owner for one of Mambu, Thought Machine or Engine by Starling (or equivalent modern core banking platform).* Define target operating models, functional scope, product configuration and extension strategy.* Manage product configuration versus custom build decisions, ensuring regulatory and commercial alignment.**Neo**‐**Bank / Greenfield Delivery*** Lead core banking product workstreams for new‐bank or regulated platform creation, migration or major transformation.* Support licence applications, mobilisation phases and regulator readiness activities where required.* Partner with Architecture and Engineering to design scalable, API‐first, cloud‐native solutions.**Regulatory & Compliance Engagement*** Work directly with regulators (e.g. ECB, local national regulators) on platform design, controls, and operational readiness.* Ensure core banking capabilities support regulatory requirements including safeguarding, reconciliation, reporting, auditability and resilience.* Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk and Financial Crime teams to embed controls by design.**Delivery & Stakeholder Management*** Translate business, regulatory and operational requirements into clear product backlogs and priorities.* Work closely with engineering teams using agile delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).* Own senior stakeholder communication across Technology, Operations, Finance and Executive leadership.**Run & Operate*** Own the product in production, including reliability, resilience, performance and vendor management.* Ensure appropriate monitoring, incident management and change governance for a regulated environment.* Support business continuity, disaster recovery and operational resilience obligations related to the platform.**Job Specifications****Essential:*** 5–10+ years’ experience in Product Management (or similar roles), with significant tenure in regulated financial services.* Hands‐on product ownership of **at least one modern core banking platform** e.g. Mambu, Thought Machine **or iGCB eMaCH.ai*** Direct experience supporting **neo**‐**bank creation, bank re**‐**platforming, or greenfield regulated environments**.* Demonstrable experience working **directly with financial regulators** during platform design, approval or mobilisation.* Strong understanding of payments, accounts, ledgers, interest, fees and settlement concepts.* Experience delivering complex platforms across multiple jurisdictions.**Desirable:*** Experience within EU‐regulated banking or payments institutions.* Exposure to safeguarding, prudential reporting and operational resilience frameworks.* Experience working with cloud‐native platforms (Azure preferred).**Core Skills & Competencies*** **Core Banking Expertise:** Deep understanding of modern, API‐first core banking architectures.* **Regulatory Mindset:** Ability to design products that satisfy regulators as well as customers.* **Product Leadership:** Clear ownership, prioritisation and roadmap discipline.* **Delivery Focus:** Comfortable operating in complex, multi‐stream delivery environments.* **Stakeholder Management:** Confident engaging executives, regulators and vendor leadership.* **Analytical & Commercial Thinking:** Understands cost models, scalability and long‐term platform economics.*If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us**!*At Monex, we do our very best every day to ensure that we take good care of our people, as our biggest asset is our highly driven and focused **Talent Culture**.We strive to continuously enable our people to develop their full potential by offering the necessary tools and support to empower our people to develop professionally and to take the next step in their career here at Monex.Teamwork is a paramount part of our Talent Culture as we achieve more when we collaborate and all work together.
