Role Overview

The Global Director of Infrastructure & Platforms defines and drives Pluxee's global infrastructure and platform strategy, ensuring alignment with the Technology Platforms & Operations vision, enterprise architecture standards, and target operating model. The role leads a global organization spanning Infrastructure DevOps, Cloud Delivery, and Regional Infrastructure & Platforms teams, delivering consistent execution across all regions, and works closely with regional IT, payment leaders, cybersecurity, cloud architecture, digital factory, and local IT teams. The Director drives the transformation toward standardized, cloud‑first, multi‑cloud platforms through automation, Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global infrastructure and platforms strategy aligned with the target operating model.
• Lead the transformation of legacy infrastructures to standardized, scalable, and resilient multi‑cloud platforms.
• Define target technical architecture in coordination with cloud architecture and maintain the global infrastructure roadmap.
• Define and implement the global cloud infrastructure delivery model for global and regional solutions.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of platforms supporting global digital services.
• Drive adoption of DevOps, DevSecOps, automation, and IaC practices.
• Lead and manage global teams: Infrastructure DevOps, Cloud Delivery, and Regional Infrastructure Managers.
• Ensure implementation of security standards in coordination with cybersecurity teams.
• Define and enforce standard processes for infrastructure delivery and operations, improving time‑to‑market.
• Define and execute end‑of‑life and migration strategies for legacy systems.
• Control infrastructure budget in coordination with FinOps and finance.
• Lead global vendor relationships for infrastructure and platforms, including RFPs, onboarding, and performance management.
• Drive deployment of global frameworks and tools across all regions.
• Ensure adoption of ITIL, Agile processes and service management standards in coordination with the Service Management Office.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs and service performance ensuring continuous improvement and service quality.
• Act as global ambassador for infrastructure and platform transformation across all countries.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• +15 years of experience in IT.
• Strong experience in infrastructure and cloud transformation programs.
• Proven expertise in multi‑cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Strong knowledge of networking and infrastructure technologies.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and IaC tools (Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
• Experience in infrastructure automation delivery, ideally knowledge of AI tooling.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile frameworks.
• Experience managing global teams and strategic vendors.
• Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, etc.).
• Experience in FinOps and cost optimization.

Location: Madrid (office and hybrid). Hybrid model: office in Madrid and work from home.
