The Executive Director of Program Experience for the International MBA (IMBA) is responsible for ensuring academic and operational excellence across the program. This role oversees program operations, student and faculty engagement, and the successful implementation of strategic initiatives focused on enhancing the overall student experience and program quality.

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative leader to manage a team of around 13 professionals dedicated to delivering outstanding service to students and faculty. The Executive Director will play a key role in driving operational excellence, leading high‑impact strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless execution across all areas of the IMBA experience.

This role reports directly to the Director of Experience & Transformation for Full-Time Programs and works closely with the Vice Dean of the IMBA, sharing responsibility for program delivery, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a person to join a full‑time position in Madrid, María de Molina.

Responsibilities

Your role as a Executive Director will involve:

• Lead, manage, and inspire a team of professionals to ensure exceptional service delivery to students and faculty.
• Oversee the day‑to‑day operations and execution of the IMBA program, ensuring a high‑quality and seamless student experience.
• Develop and implement initiatives aimed at improving student engagement, satisfaction, and overall program quality.
• Lead and coordinate large‑scale strategic and operational projects across the program lifecycle.
• Ensure effective allocation of tasks and resources to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Drive the implementation of transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within the program.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the team and across cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with senior management and academic leadership to align program operations with the Business School’s strategic priorities.
• Oversee the student journey from onboarding through graduation, ensuring operational excellence at every stage.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (required); MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire others.
• Strong orientation toward service excellence and student‑centric solutions.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, large‑scale strategic or operational projects.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strategic mindset with a strong focus on execution and continuous improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced and international environments.
• Budget management expertise.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex organizations.
• Familiarity with higher education, MBA programs, or student services environments is highly desirable.
• Experience implementing operational improvement or transformation initiatives is a plus.
