Our partner is a fast-growing HealthTech company developing connected technologies at the intersection of hardware, embedded systems, IoT, AI and digital health. Their technology transforms everyday environments into intelligent health platforms, enabling seamless and continuous health monitoring.

We are currently looking for a Installation & Deployment Specialist to take ownership of the end-to-end installation and commissioning of their connected devices at customer locations.

Mission:

As an Installation & Deployment Specialist, your mission will be to ensure every deployment is successfully delivered from initial site assessment through installation, activation and final validation.

This is a highly hands-on and field-oriented role. You will assess customer sites, identify technical requirements, coordinate any necessary adaptations, physically install and configure connected equipment, troubleshoot issues and ensure each deployment meets the company's technical and quality standards.

As the company scales, you will also play a key role in developing and professionalizing its network of external installers, helping create the processes, documentation and technical standards required to deploy the technology consistently across different locations and markets.

The Role:

You will be responsible for:

Performing pre-installation site assessments to evaluate technical requirements and installation feasibility.

Reviewing water supply, drainage, electricity, connectivity and available space before deployment.

Identifying potential technical issues and defining any adaptations required before installation.

Preparing pre-installation checklists, requirements and technical documentation for customers and contractors.

Coordinating or supervising necessary site adaptations involving plumbing, electrical work, minor construction, furniture or other external providers.

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and installation documentation.

Carrying out the physical installation of connected equipment at customer locations.

Completing connections involving water, drainage, electricity and network connectivity.

Configuring equipment and ensuring correct communication between the device and its digital platform.

Performing functional tests, commissioning and final validation before handing over the installation to the customer.

Troubleshooting technical issues during installation and identifying effective solutions directly in the field.

Training customers and internal teams on the basic operation and use of the system.

Creating, maintaining and continuously improving installation procedures, technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.

Documenting recurring incidents and building a structured technical knowledge base.

Supporting and training new internal and external installers.

Gradually taking ownership of the company's external installer network, including selecting, evaluating, training and certifying technical partners.

Auditing external installations to ensure they meet the company's technical and quality standards.

Providing technical support to external installers during complex deployments.

Helping define which installations can be independently handled by external partners and which require direct internal technical involvement.

What we need:

3+ years of experience in technical installation, field service, industrial maintenance, plumbing/HVAC, professional equipment, sanitary equipment or a similar hands-on technical environment.

Previous experience carrying out technical installations directly at customer sites.

Solid practical knowledge of plumbing, water supply and drainage systems.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to safely identify installation requirements.

Basic understanding of Ethernet, Wi-Fi and device connectivity.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

Strong practical ability using tools and carrying out hands-on technical work.

Experience with commissioning, technical validation and troubleshooting.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify what is technically feasible and propose alternative solutions when necessary.

Ability to understand systems combining hardware, connectivity and software.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage installations autonomously from preparation through final delivery.

Good communication and customer-facing skills.

Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and train other people.

Strong attention to detail and ability to properly document installations, incidents and solutions.

Availability to travel regularly to customer sites.

Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors or external technicians.

Previous responsibility for training or certifying external installers or technical partners.

Experience managing several installations or deployments simultaneously.

Experience installing or maintaining connected devices, IoT products or smart equipment.

Previous experience in HealthTech, professional sanitary equipment, HVAC, industrial equipment or similar technical environments.

Experience working in a startup, scale-up or fast-growing technology company.

Experience creating technical procedures, installation manuals, checklists or troubleshooting documentation.
