Sales Director

Senior Director – Global Sales (Connectivity & Network Infrastructure)

Location: Flexible / Remote (Portugal/Spain/France or Ireland)
Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Director to lead global sales activities for high‑performance connectivity and network infrastructure solutions. This is a senior, hands‑on role suited to a commercially driven leader who thrives in a fast‑growing, international environment. You will own the full sales lifecycle, drive revenue growth across multiple customer segments, and play a key role in shaping commercial strategy as the business continues to scale globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and convert a robust global sales pipeline across telecom operators, ISPs, content providers and enterprise customers
  • Lead complex, high‑value sales cycles from opportunity identification through to contract execution
  • Balance new business development (hunter) and account growth (farmer) responsibilities across direct and partner channels
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial offers, pricing structures, SLAs, and MSAs
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and sales performance updates against targets
  • Track market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy
  • Collaborate closely with technical, operations, and leadership teams in a cross‑functional, multicultural setup
  • Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events globally

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior B2B sales within telecommunications, connectivity, subsea or terrestrial infrastructure, or related network services
  • Proven track record of closing complex, international, high‑value deals
  • Strong understanding of network technologies such as IP, optical/DWDM, data centres, and capacity services
  • Experience managing long sales cycles with multiple technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote, entrepreneurial environment

  • Commercially astute, results‑driven and highly organised
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute tactically
  • Analytical and data‑driven approach to forecasting and pipeline management
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required

Tools & Qualifications

  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce (or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business or a related field preferred
