Sales Specialist (freight forwarding industry)

We offer comprehensive services including the implementation of international shipments by various modes of transport, import and export organization, consolidation, customs clearance and cargo insurance. AsstrA today is an international holding company operating in the logistics services market. Total number of employees - more than 900 people.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Specialist to join AsstrA in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the business development strategy for Spain.
• Actively drive sales growth and new customer acquisition.
• Personally participate in key customer meetings, negotiations and strategic commercial activities.
• Strengthen relationships with existing clients and business partners.
• Build, manage and develop the local team.
• Improve internal processes, cooperation and operational performance.
• Monitor business results, KPIs, profitability and market development.
• Ensure effective cooperation with AsstrA teams in other countries.
• Represent AsstrA on the Spanish logistics market.

Required Experience

• Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics or transport.
• Strong commercial background and successful experience in business development.
• Experience in managing a team, business unit or country organization.
• Ability to develop sales activity and build business from the market.
• Understanding of operational processes in logistics.
• Experience in managing business results, KPIs and profitability.
• Fluent Spanish and English.
