Senior Account Executive

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for driving growth and innovation in a dynamic environment? Insight is seeking an experienced Account Executive to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. In this pivotal role you will manage a portfolio of key accounts, consistently surpass sales targets, and foster enduring client relationships. You will also spearhead multi‑level selling strategies across Technology and Solutions, ensuring clients receive unparalleled value and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs to create strategic account plans.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Utilize internal systems to track progress against targets and manage account plans effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build professional relationships.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to share insights and drive business goals.
  • Engage in continuous learning through training programs offered by Insight.

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets in Technology and Solutions.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to completion for a book of existing accounts.
  • Ability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of customer requirements.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Team‑player with a flexible approach and a can‑do attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills.
