Strategy & Operations Manager in Barcelona - Energy & Telecommunications | French-speaking

We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to join our growing Barcelona team and play a key role in the development of our Energy & Telecom practice. The position combines project leadership, senior client exposure, team management and business development, in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment with strong career development opportunities.

The role has a strong international dimension. French-speaking candidates are particularly relevant to support the continued development of our business in France and other French-speaking markets, while working from Barcelona as part of our Iberian team.

What will your challenge be?

As a Manager, you will take ownership of projects from definition to delivery, combining rigorous problem solving with client leadership, team development and contribution to the growth of the practice.

• Leading strategy, transformation and operational improvement projects from definition to delivery
• Structuring complex problems and translating analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
• Managing project teams and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities and contributing to proposals
• Coaching junior team members and contributing to the development of knowledge and the practice

The type of projects you may work on includes:

• Growth strategy, business planning and commercial strategy
• Operating model and organisational transformation
• Operational excellence and performance improvement
• M&A, commercial due diligence and post-merger integration / separation
• Regulatory, market and digital transformation projects

Would you like to join us?

What we are looking for:

• Around 5–8 years of professional experience, with a strong background in strategy, management or operations consulting and proven experience leading projects and teams.
• Knowledge of Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure or Telecommunications is highly valued, although strong candidates from other sectors are also welcome.
• Fluent English and fluent or bilingual French (C1/C2). Spanish is a must and Catalan is valuable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and deliver pragmatic solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with senior client stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, proactivity and interest in business development and the growth of the practice.
