Finance Manager - Spanish & English

Director of Finance – 7Pines Resort Ibiza

This person will contribute with their financial experience to maintain the successful service strategy of the brand, maximizing return on investment (ROI). They will reconcile business plans with the business strategy of the property and brand, continuously overseeing financial activities, reporting outcomes, and driving improvement plans. They will also ensure the adequacy of procedures in accordance with regulatory changes.

Responsibilities

Improve reporting, adding value with comments and proposals when preparing, presenting, and carrying out action or improvement plans.

Obtain transaction processing and book closure in the most efficient way.

Supervise the purchasing department to ensure profitability.

Improve the efficiency of the department and the team to recognize and retain talent.

Qualifications

Excellent organizational and communication skills in Spanish and English; German or other languages valued.

Knowledge and experience operating in a 5-star luxury hotel environment.

Ability to envision and create clear objectives and involve others.

Ability to work in a team and autonomously with a clear sense of organization for prioritization and delegation of tasks.

Resolution capacity to coordinate and balance conflicting interests of stakeholders.

Ability to listen, interact positively and work effectively with others.

Ability to perform complex activities, involving business ideas, technical and interpersonal skills.

General technical experience in accounting, financial analysis, and planning.

Business understanding and acumen.

Highly customer and results oriented.

IT literate (related to hotel industry standards and social media).

Resilience in the face of setbacks.

Dynamic, inspiring, innovative and pragmatic with a great sense of commitment and integrity.
