We are an agile and collaborative team responsible for designing and operating core backend services that power our platform in the Post Trading area of the SIX Swiss Exchange. In this position, you will work closely with software engineers, architects, and product teams to design, maintain and deliver high-quality backend solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
Build and operate event-driven services using Apache Kafka
Develop and maintain applications running on Java application servers such as WildFly
Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems
Very strong experience with Java backend development and modern backend design principles
Experience with Spring and Spring Boot for building microservices
Experience with Kafka or other messaging / event-streaming platforms
Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases
High English level, both written and spoken, to interact with our international colleagues
