We are seeking a meticulous and driven QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. An ideal candidate is someone who can focus on details but who also sees the larger picture; someone who sees complexity and can simplify it and organize it; someone who is willing to learn and teach new technologies, automation, and desires to stay on the leading edge of software development processes; and someone who strives to influence efficiency on behalf of their team and department.

You will collaborate closely with software developers and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to identify testing requirements, create test plans, and execute test cases.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.

Reviews and validates requirements and technical specifications.

Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization.

Documents results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality.

Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing).

Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization.

Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes.

Manages testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements and skills

• B.S. or master’s in computer engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and development.
• 2+ years SQL database experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience using bug tracking systems such as Jira.
• Experience working with Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
• Experience in automation testing with Ranorex, Karate or Selenium is a plus.
