Sales Lead Manager - Spanish Speaker

At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city’s newest luxury landmarks, we are looking for a dynamic, results‑driven, and relationship‑focused Sales Manager to join our Commercial team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating and converting group business, managing inquiries ranging from 10 to 465 rooms per night. You will craft tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and nurture lasting client relationships that support the hotel’s commercial success. Working closely with the Associate Director of Sales, you will play a key role in positioning Grand Hyatt Barcelona as a preferred destination for meetings, incentives, and group travel.
Identify, qualify, and develop new group business aligned with the hotel’s commercial strategy.
Build strong and lasting relationships with meeting planners, corporate clients, organizations, Hyatt Sales Force, Convention Bureaus, and key industry partners.
Tailored Sales Approach & Proposal Excellence
Prepare polished presentations and maintain accurate booking information in internal systems.
Negotiate rates and contract terms confidently and effectively.
Partner closely with Event Planning, Operations, and Marketing to ensure smooth coordination and flawless execution of group programs.
Achieve personal and departmental sales goals through strategic planning and opportunity management.
Contribute to revenue‑driving initiatives and commercial strategies.
Maintain proficiency in Envision, Opera PMS, H2H, and Hyatt loyalty programs to support accurate and efficient sales processes.
Participate in ongoing training and assist in onboarding new colleagues and trainees.
Previous experience in hotel sales, preferably within the luxury segment.
Proven ability to manage sales cycles, from lead qualification to deal closure.
Proficiency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a valuable plus.
