Your role as Back End Developer

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior/Mid-Level Back-end Developer to join our team. As a Developer at Expivi, you can work on exciting projects, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to developing next-generation software applications.

We’ve described some roles, responsibilities and competencies below to help you understand what is expected when working as a back-end developer.

3+ years of PHP experience

• Experience with SQL (MySql, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Experience with unit testing in PHPUnit
• Experience working with Scrum
• Knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of HTML/JS/CSS

Senior Developer

• 5+ years of PHP experience
• 3+ years of experience with SQL (MySql, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Experience with Web API development,
• Experience with HTML/JS/CSS
• Experience with Linux
• Provide mentorship for junior back-end developers
• Experience working with Scrum
• DevOps (Kubernetes, CI, CD)
• Experience with performance and optimization problems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.

Mentor and guide junior developers when necessary.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a Senior/Mid-Level Developer with a strong portfolio of previous work.

Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.

Reasonably fluent in English, word and writing (at least at a B2 level)
