Global Strategy Lead, PNH

Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease seeks a Global Disease Lead for PNH to drive commercialization strategy and profitable management of the indication across key markets. This leadership role spans brand strategy, pre-launch planning, and business performance oversight within a matrix organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead value strategy refinement and disease strategy plan development in collaboration with Medical and Market Access teams
- Drive global pre-launch strategy and planning 12-18 months prior to launch across multiple markets
- Develop and execute commercial strategy including positioning, messaging, and customer segmentation
- Oversee competitor response team and ensure cross-functional alignment on key programs
- Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership on strategy execution and forecast management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or life sciences
- 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience including global strategic planning and launches
- Proven leadership with accountability for delivering business goals in major healthcare markets
- Deep expertise in rare disease drug development and commercialization
- P&L management experience and ability to build financial business cases
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance, pharmacovigilance, and global regulations
- Experience integrating AI tools into cross-functional workflows for strategic decision-making
