AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we are the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers as well as all the servers, storage equipment, networks, power systems, and cooling systems that ensure our customers have continuous access to the innovations they rely on. We work on the most complex problems, with thousands of variables impacting our operations, and we are looking for talent who want to help us tackle these challenges.
• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the data center's mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Work independently with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Act as the escalation point for all data center facility-related issues, escalating to the Facility Manager as needed.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot and report facility-level and server-level events within internal SLA timelines.
• Create and deploy new standard practices for EOT Technicians, Chief Engineers, and contractor teams.
• Provide training and mentoring to Engineering Operations Technicians.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety procedures by contractors and Amazon personnel.
• Use the internal CMMS to manage and track facility workflows.
• Communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Manage infrastructure improvement projects from design to delivery, tracking milestones, costs, and deliverables. A day in the life

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Intermediate level in English and/or French (spoken and written)- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Industrial Technology, or Electrotechnical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in a data center or other critical environment
- Significant experience in the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, switchboards, HVAC, chilled water/cooling systems)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluency in English (spoken, written, and reading)- Knowledge of CMMS, BMS (Building Management Systems), and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS)
- Experience in technical project management (design, cost tracking, delivery)
- Experience in data centers, manufacturing, or the Oil & Gas sector
- Proven experience in supervising and training technical teams
- Familiarity with 24/7/365 critical operational environments
