Manufacturing Engineering Empennages

Job Summary

An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Empennages Engineer within Airbus Defence and Space Tablada (Seville). The Development and Process Engineer will deliver Empennages to final assembly lines, ensuring protection and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborative‑Design to Manufacturing (Co‑Design/Co‑Indus).
• Contribute to all phases of the design to ensure industrial needs are taken into account.
• Push industrial requirements to Engineering (specific design/M&P) & Supply Chain.
• Introduce manufacturing best practices and standardization into design.
• Define Build Process for Manufacturing Engineering (ME).
• Calculate time at operation level.
• Manage technical sequencing.
• Specify industrial asset requirements for creation or modification (jigs, tools, tooling, machines…).
• Drive implementation of first installation with required shop‑floor feedback loops for manufacturing readiness (production handover).
• Plan regular feedback loops with the Production Team.
• Accountable for configuration management (in particular Delta2).
• Perform standard work (best way to perform tasks described in the SOI‑The How).
• Implement standard time value in routings.
• Ensure execution of robust, reliable and safe operations.
• Run and support PFMEA/FMEA and capability processes.
• Support shop floor and plan regular feedback loops.
• Participate in quality control board by providing measurement tasks.

Qualifications

• Educated in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
• At least three years in assembly with experience on Co‑Design, industrialization and support to production lines or as Process Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset, team spirit and communication skills.
• Advanced level in English and Spanish.
