Job Summary
An opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Empennages Engineer within Airbus Defence and Space Tablada (Seville). The Development and Process Engineer will deliver Empennages to final assembly lines, ensuring protection and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborative‑Design to Manufacturing (Co‑Design/Co‑Indus).
- Contribute to all phases of the design to ensure industrial needs are taken into account.
- Push industrial requirements to Engineering (specific design/M&P) & Supply Chain.
- Introduce manufacturing best practices and standardization into design.
- Define Build Process for Manufacturing Engineering (ME).
- Calculate time at operation level.
- Manage technical sequencing.
- Specify industrial asset requirements for creation or modification (jigs, tools, tooling, machines…).
- Drive implementation of first installation with required shop‑floor feedback loops for manufacturing readiness (production handover).
- Plan regular feedback loops with the Production Team.
- Accountable for configuration management (in particular Delta2).
- Perform standard work (best way to perform tasks described in the SOI‑The How).
- Implement standard time value in routings.
- Ensure execution of robust, reliable and safe operations.
- Run and support PFMEA/FMEA and capability processes.
- Support shop floor and plan regular feedback loops.
- Participate in quality control board by providing measurement tasks.
Qualifications
- Educated in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- At least three years in assembly with experience on Co‑Design, industrialization and support to production lines or as Process Engineer in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset, team spirit and communication skills.
- Advanced level in English and Spanish.
