Financial Data Analytics & Insights Lead

Position Finance Data Analytics & Insights Lead manages complex engagements in the area of Finance Analytics and Financial Planning, provides expert data-driven insights and strategic recommendations solutions to business leaders at all levels. The role requires deep analytical end-to-end expertise, a strong understanding of business strategy, and exceptional communication skills to support identifying high-impact opportunities and designing sophisticated analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversees multiple analysis projects and guides other specialists.
• Innovates and leads high-impact initiatives.
• Tackles highly complex business problems using data.
• Develops bespoke insights solutions tailored to unique organizational challenges aligned with the Group Data strategy.
• Works closely with senior leadership to shape analytical portfolios and solutions.
• Acts as a mentor to junior and associate specialists.
• Leads high-impact projects that significantly influence the overarching Digital Finance portfolio.
• Manages enterprise-level datasets and highly complex analysis projects.
• Designs and implements advanced data visualization, financial planning, data engineering and reporting frameworks to support Digital Finance ambitions.
• Acts as an expert in data visualization, planning, data engineering, and advanced analytical techniques for Finance.
• Possesses an in-depth understanding of business strategy and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading complex engagements and providing strategic, data-driven recommendations to senior business leaders.
• Proven track record of establishing trusted relationships with stakeholders and influencing Digital Finance strategy.
• Experience overseeing multiple analysis/financial planning projects and guiding/mentoring team members.
• 8+ years of technical, project or team lead experience in SAP BI/Analytics software (SAP/BW, Datasphere, SAC) design and development.
• Strong capability in managing finance-related datasets based on deep understanding of SAP/S4 modules (CO, FI, SD, MM) and their interfaces.
• Ability to design, implement, and lead advanced data reporting and financial planning frameworks and approaches.
• Knowledge of IBM/Planning Analytics (TM1), Snowflake, AI solution exploration, design and implementation is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to identify high-impact opportunities and influence decision-making.
• Strong leadership mindset with dedication to driving adoption of advanced techniques and shaping long-term methodologies.
• Experience with SCRUM, product ownership, SAFe, ITIL, and data mesh methodologies is a plus.
