Medical Optics Group: Post-doctoral position in applications of near-infrared spectroscopy and diffuse correlation spectroscopy in critical care
ICFO is offering a postdoctoral position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.
The successful candidate will be joining the Medical Optics research group led by Prof. Turgut Durduran who is looking for a postdoctoral fellow for joining our activities in carrying out clinical studies and trials on the use of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) and diffuse correlation spectroscopy (DCS) for critical care applications. In particular, this work will be the continuation of the HEMOCOVID-19, VASCOVID and REHAB COVID projects. It will be carried out in collaboration with Parc Tauli Hospital (PI: Jaume Mesquida). The fellow will be in charge of data acquisition, analysis, interpretation as well as the design of new protocols and probes.
