As CREADIS ’ new Business Development Director, Europe, you will be responsible for the execution of the growth strategy for Spain and the general European region. This position is remote and will ideally be based in Barcelona, Spain.

CREADIS is a global engineering company offering highly specialized engineering consulting, helping clients design, build, and improve complex systems and projects. With extensive experience within renewable energy, particularly wind energy and green fuels hydrogen and electrolyzes factories, CREADIS provides expertise in meeting their clients' challenges.

The Business Development Director will need to have solid business-to-business experience selling engineering services and solutions. You will be responsible for selling engineering projects across Europe focusing on renewable energy and green fuels factories, driving new sales, creating new business opportunities and building long-lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and have the ability to work independently. You will be part of a fast-paced work culture and a team of dedicated sales professionals based in Europe and the US.

Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Director's focus will be to execute the strategic business development plan in Spain/Europe within green fuels, such as factories, hydrogen, electrolyzes and methanol. You will work locally with a global impact, thereby contributing to the overall development of the organization’s capabilities within the green fuels industry.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop strong long-term relationships with new clients and influencers to drive market awareness for CREADIS, in particular within the new development of green fuel factories
  • Manage the entire sales cycle by prospecting, developing, and closing deals
  • Work directly with clients to discuss and understand their needs and communicate these to internal global stakeholders
  • Work closely together with internal stakeholders globally to ensure that customer needs are met
  • Support the internal development of green fuels capability development toward meeting market trends
  • Perform administrative tasks related to sales activities in relevant IT systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering
  • 8+ years of international experience in engineering solutions (EPCM) sales, preferably within renewable and green fuels factories and technology development
  • Solid experience in business development strategy implementation
  • Ability to persistently pursue new business development opportunities in a competitive marketplace
  • Proven experience of successfully working with long sales cycles
  • A self-starter who works well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools

Salary: Competitive compensation package
Travel activity: 20-30%
