Data Migration System Lead - Pharma (remote)

Join a leading global pharmaceutical company as an IT EDP Data Migration System Lead. You will drive enterprise data migration initiatives, leading the design, governance, and execution of scalable data solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to support key business transformation programs. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Act as the technical lead for Data Migration and Data Management initiatives across global programs.
Define end-to-end migration strategies, architectures, frameworks, and technical standards.
Own the overall solution design for data migration processes supporting ERP implementations, acquisitions, divestitures, and system transformations.
Lead data discovery, data assessment, data object definition, and source-to-target mapping activities.
Drive data architecture decisions ensuring consistency across systems and platforms.
Ensure alignment between business processes, enterprise architecture standards, and migration solutions.
Review and approve technical designs, transformation rules, validation procedures, and reconciliation approaches.
Define migration waves, cutover strategies, rollback procedures, and go-live readiness criteria.
Establish best practices, methodologies, templates, and governance models for migration projects.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project teams, migration specialists, developers, and analysts.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Application Owners, Integration Teams, Data Governance, and Security organizations.
Support solution scalability, maintainability, performance, and compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical
Strong experience in Data Migration and Data Governance programs.
Knowledge of SAP architecture and SAP data models.
Experience with ETL and Cloud-based Data Migration solutions (AWS preferred).
Good understanding of system integrations, network connectivity and enterprise platforms.
Knowledge of SQL databases and data analysis tools.
Experience with testing frameworks and validation methodologies.
Understanding of GxP regulated environments.
English: Professional/Fluent (C1).
Professional Experience
5+ years of experience leading Data Migration initiatives.
Experience within pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries.
Experience delivering global business transformation projects.
Proven stakeholder management and vendor coordination capabilities.
Experience combining technical leadership with project management responsibilities.
SCHEDULE :
08/09h -17/18h from Monday to Friday (flexible)
100% remote
CONDITIONS :
