Spa Therapist - Six Senses Ibiza

In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of all spa tasks to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. I have full knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the spat including all treatment facilities as well as their location and layout.

I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role:

• Perform spa menu treatments as per Six Senses Spas standards, ensuring quality and consistency across the team.
• Perform specialized treatments with expertise, mentoring junior therapists where required.
• Supervise and ensure treatment rooms are stocked and always maintained as per standards, delegating tasks effectively to team members. Set up treatment rooms according to standards, ensuring readiness for audits and guest inspections.
• Request, log, and oversee stock of supplies for treatment rooms, identifying procurement needs proactively.
• Serve the welcome drink or other menu offerings to the guests when required, ensuring personalized guest interactions.
• Oversee and uphold the cleanliness and hygiene of the Spa and treatment rooms, conducting regular checks to maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain the spa equipment, ensuring operational safety and longevity.
• Handle and resolve guest complaints, escalating critical issues to management while supporting staff on conflict resolution techniques.
• Record all guest comments and suggestions, analyzing feedback to improve service delivery.
• Log and review product recommendations to guests, tracking sales performance and contributing to retail strategy.
• Complete all required documents, controls, and reports (e.g., stock reports, daily logs, guest comments, lost & found) with attention to detail. Conduct and supervise stock counts for both retail and professional products, ensuring accurate inventory management.
• Monitor and analyze usage of professional products, providing recommendations for optimization.
• Upsell fitness, spa, and wellness activities, leading by example and motivating the team to achieve sales targets.
• Attend and actively participate in meetings and training, representing the team and sharing insights with peers and supervisors.
• Maintain and enforce Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, driving team performance to exceed benchmarks.
• Adhere strictly to LQA standards, coaching the team to achieve exceptional guest experiences based on feedback and audits.
• Act as a role model for service excellence, mentoring and supporting team members to develop their skills and meet performance goals.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisor/management, contributing proactively to the overall success of the spa.

Skills and Experience

To execute the position of Spa Therapist I confirm that I have the required qualifications, technical skills and at least three years’ experience in a similar or greater role in luxury spas and health clubs with proven certifications and diplomas. I have graduated or have broad knowledge on anatomy and physiology, massage therapy, beauty therapy at either NVQ, ITEC or CIDESCO.

Understanding and specialization of various beauty product, aesthetic appliances, its specifications and uses. Knowledge in use of facial, nail or other beauty technology as required to fulfil spa treatments

I have knowledge in use of MS Office, have a good command of English (written and spoken) and I keep myself updated with the latest trends in spa and wellness.

I am a personally involved, visible and proactive host with excellent organizational skills. I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer and I have experience and I am able to work in a cross-cultural environment positively.

I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines, rules and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities and services.
