Community Associate
As a Community Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for the Community, representing WeWork and supporting the Community Management team. Your responsibilities include building a welcoming environment, managing front‑desk operations, facilitating events, and ensuring smooth building functions.
Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Cover the front desk during business hours, greet members and guests, enforce guest policy via Welkio tablet, maintain cleanliness and organization, and address member and guest inquiries.
- Member Relationship Building: Learn member and guest names, anticipate needs, and personalize the experience to strengthen community ties.
- Event and Membership Engagement: Provide feedback on programming, evaluate events for attendance and impact, promote events, coordinate operational requirements, and communicate events through Kube or equivalent systems.
- Building Operations and Management: Handle mailroom tasks, manage keys and keycards, support automated coffee machines, and troubleshoot lost packages or other logistical issues.
- Operational Compliance: Maintain building‑specific forms, ensure proper courier and mail policies, and safely manage emergency equipment.
Qualifications
- College graduate preferred but not required.
- 1+ years of hospitality experience.
- Customer service and/or sales experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and multitasking abilities.
- Integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self‑awareness, strong work ethic, and compassion.
- Passion for entrepreneurial communities and an understanding of WeWork’s mission and values.
- Basic computer proficiency.
