Competition Economist (Senior Associate)

Barcelona, Spain (hybrid)

A leading European economics consultancy with plans to grow its Barcelona office, is searching for an economist to join its competition practice focusing on mergers, damages and disputes cases in Spain.

The company is a well‑known entity in the space and this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a young office within a well‑established firm. There is huge scope to work across a various of competition and antitrust cases, manage projects and client relationships, and ultimately progress your career in an amazing part of the world!

• Working across a broad range of areas within competition including antitrust and commercial damages.
• Fast career progression to a senior economist position
• Exposure to multiple sectors

As an economist you will work independently and as a part of a highly analytical team.

Required Skills

• Proven experience working on high level economic analysis in the competition space
• Experience in writing reports for clients
• Master’s degree in Economics
• Knowledge of STATA or R
• Ideally a native Spanish speaker
