The Role
At Kyndryl, our Security professionals are trusted advisors, helping organizations understand their cyber risks and make smart, informed decisions to protect their business.
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Sales / Consulting profile, with a strong background in cybersecurity and consulting, who can engage with customers at a strategic level, understand their security challenges, and drive the adoption of Kyndryl cybersecurity services and solutions.
This role combines deep cybersecurity knowledge with a commercial and customer‑facing focus, working closely with delivery and expert teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor for customers, understanding their business context, security posture, and risk landscape
- Drive sales and revenue growth for cybersecurity services and solutions, managing opportunities from discovery through closing
- Demonstrate a track record in managing sales targets, pipeline and revenue achievement
- Qualify customer opportunities around cybersecurity risk, compliance, resilience and emerging threats, translating into business value
- Support security assessments, proposals and high‑level solution design from a commercial and advisory perspective
- Build long‑term relationships with key customer stakeholders, including C‑level and senior decision makers
- Stay up to date on cybersecurity trends, frameworks and technologies to position Kyndryl’s offerings effectively in the market
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security consulting, or cybersecurity sales roles
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and security frameworks (e.g. NIST, RMF, ISO)
- Proven experience in customer‑facing roles with commercial responsibility, sales targets or revenue ownership
- Ability to articulate cybersecurity risks and solutions clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills
- Customer‑focused mindset, with the ability to link security solutions to business outcomes
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience supporting or leading cybersecurity sales cycles, bids, or complex customer engagements
- Background in cloud security, cyber resiliency, Zero Trust, network/EDGE security, or emerging technologies
