Key Responsibilities

• Source, identify, and engage high-quality Dutch-speaking candidates across a variety of digital platforms, job boards, and professional networks within the Recruitment & Staffing sector.
• Conduct initial screening interviews and candidate assessments in Dutch to evaluate suitability for open positions across our client portfolio.
• Manage and maintain a pipeline of active and passive Dutch-speaking candidates, ensuring timely and professional communication throughout the recruitment process.
• Collaborate closely with senior recruiters and account managers to understand client staffing requirements and deliver tailored candidate shortlists.
• Post compelling and SEO-optimised job advertisements in Dutch and English across relevant platforms to attract top-tier talent for jobs in Spain and across Europe.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with candidates, providing career guidance and acting as a trusted point of contact throughout their job search journey.
• Update and maintain accurate candidate and client records within the internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in line with GDPR and data compliance standards.
• Support the wider recruitment team with market research, talent mapping, and employer branding initiatives to strengthen Mercier Consultancy Group's presence in Dutch-speaking markets.

Requirements

• Native or fluent Dutch language skills, both spoken and written, are essential for this role — all candidate communication will be conducted in Dutch.
• A valid EU passport or full legal authorisation to work within the European Union (mandatory).
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to engage and build rapport with people from diverse professional backgrounds.
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for the Recruitment & Staffing industry and a desire to grow within a fast-paced international environment.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a hybrid working setting.
