Expedia B2B is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We provide the scale, innovative technology and supply chain of Expedia Group to businesses looking to take on the world of travel. In this role, you will

• Develop various facets of data capture, data processing, storage, distribution and visualization.
• Understand and apply AWS standard methodologies and products (compute, storage, databases).
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑tested code.
• Develop scalable and highly performance‑oriented distributed systems with everything this entails (availability, monitoring, resiliency).
• Communicate and document solutions and design decisions.
• Propose new ways of doing things and contribute to the system architecture.
• Be part of an agile team that is continuously learning and improving.

Experience and Qualification

• Experience with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Scala, Python or Java).
• Experience delivering and supporting highly available and scalable solutions with large transaction volume.
• Experience working with relational databases and proven knowledge of SQL.
• Experience using cloud services (e.g., AWS).
• A passion for learning, especially in the areas of data, technology, service design patterns and system architecture.
• Self‑motivated with drive and good organizational skills to work in a multi‑disciplinary team.

The total cash range for this position in Madrid is €43,000 to €60,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to €69,000, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance.
