What you'll do
As our first ever Media Manager , you will lead the development of Frekuent’s advertising monetization ecosystem. Your mission will be to attract, negotiate, and manage commercial brands showcased on Frekuent devices while defining pricing strategies, partnerships, and scalable monetization frameworks globally.
You will work closely with Sales, Account Management, and Product teams , reporting directly to the Sales Director , ensuring alignment between commercial growth, advertiser needs, and product capabilities.
Key responsibilities:
Brand Acquisition & Partnerships
- Identify, approach, and secure commercial brands to advertise across Frekuent devices.
- Build long-term partnerships with advertisers, agencies, and strategic intermediaries.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and collaboration models.
- Develop partnerships with third parties that accelerate advertising monetization.
- Identify high-impact categories, brands, and platforms for collaboration based on audience, market, and cultural insights.
Ads Monetization Strategy
- Define and execute Frekuent’s global advertising monetization strategy.
- Establish pricing frameworks, commercial packages, and inventory optimization models.
- Maintain a living portfolio of case studies to inform future partnerships and internal storytelling.
- Identify new revenue streams and innovative advertising formats.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to align commercial objectives and client success.
- Work with Product teams to ensure advertising solutions fit platform capabilities and roadmap.
- Provide insights to improve advertiser experience and operational efficiency.
Performance & Growth
- Track revenue performance, pipeline development, and advertiser ROI.
- Define KPIs and measurement frameworks for each partnership in collaboration with Data.
- Continuously optimize monetization strategy based on data and feedback.
- Support international expansion of advertising partnerships.
Who we’re looking for
- 5–8+ years in advertising, media sales, brand partnerships, or ads monetization roles.
- Proven experience closing brand partnerships and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Experience designing advertising pricing models and monetization strategies.
- International exposure and experience working across multiple markets.
- Background in digital media, AdTech, retail media, or platform-based advertising is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Pragmatic problem-solving and execution focus.
- Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity.
- Attention to detail without losing strategic perspective.
- Fluent in both Spanish & English, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Takes accountability and consistently owns the outcome throughout the process.
- Comfortable speaking up and proposing bold, creative ideas that add value.
