What’s the project?

Our client is a global powerhouse and leader in professional HR and recruitment services with an extensive footprint across over 30 countries. From their thriving Shared Services Centre (SSC) in sunny Barcelona, a multicultural hub of 40+ nationalities, they support global business operations and finance streams at scale.

To stay ahead of the curve, their Finance IT team is stepping up its digital game! The team currently manages around 80 automated processes using UiPath. However, these bots are due for a serious refresh. The main goal is to clean up, optimize, and modernize the entire automation suite over the next six months. Once that solid foundation is laid, the project pivots into an exciting frontier: building out cutting-edge AI utilities, intelligent agents, and empowering the wider team as an automation expert!

And your role in this?

We are looking for a Digital Enablement & RPA Developer with strong tech fundamentals to help professionalize this automation suite. You will play a central, hands‑on role in taking raw automations, leveling up their technical architecture, and eventually guiding the transition toward AI‑driven workflows.

More specifically, you will:

• Upgrade & Modernize: Take charge of existing UiPath automations, refactoring code, upgrading specs, and conducting testing, verification, and hypercare.
• Code & Develop: Utilize hard programming skills (Python, SQL) to write clean, stable, and scalable solutions for complex data and integration tasks.
• Drive AI Integration: Support the team’s shift toward AI‑enabled and agentic solutions, helping identify where intelligent tools can collaborate with RPA bots.
• Coach & Elevate: Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing level‑3 technical escalation support and coaching other finance team members on RPA best practices.
• Engage Stakeholders: Talk with finance users, gather requirements, map out workflows, and translate operational friction into smooth digital fixes.

The Automation & AI Specialist Profile

Must-Haves:

• RPA Mastery: ~3+ years of hands‑on UiPath development experience in enterprise settings.
• Core Programming Background: Solid IT/software background with practical knowledge of Python and SQL/databases.
• AI Skills: Exposure to AI solutions, ideally with some hands‑on experience in building tools.
• Drive & Curiosity: A genuine interest in emerging AI technologies and the enthusiasm to learn and experiment.
• Communication Skills: Great interpersonal vibes to talk comfortably with senior stakeholders, translate tech talk to non‑techies, and build great working relationships.
• Languages: Fluent English is essential.

Nice-To-Haves:

• UiPath Certifications or experience with REFramework.
• Prior experience working within a Shared Service Centre (SSC) or finance environment.
• Understanding of API integrations, JSON, and data structures.
