Product Manager (m/f/d) - FISCAS (Invoice & Fiscal Compliance Platform)

FISCAS is the key team responsible for ensuring legally compliant customer invoices and providing e-invoicing solutions in line with new regulatory requirements.

• Own FISCAS within Customer Fulfilment: a focused, specialized application that turns ERP billing data into legally and fiscally compliant invoices for every customer sales order, across channels and markets.
• Run and optimize the module in live operation (it is largely rolled out), keeping invoice generation accurate and stable while adapting it to evolving country-specific fiscal and e-invoicing regulations.
• Own the data flows through the module: billing data in from ERP and order management, compliant documents out to fiscalization and e-invoicing services, tax engines, archiving, and reporting, including asynchronous processing and failure handling.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into product requirements together with Tax, Finance, and Legal, ensuring order, pricing, tax, and accounting data map into country-compliant invoices.
• Align interfaces, contracts, and changes with the adjacent product teams (ERP, order management, finance, reporting).
• Own the backlog with engineering (user stories, API contracts, data models, acceptance criteria), prioritize against regulatory deadlines and operational stability, and track KPIs: invoice accuracy, processing latency, integration stability, compliance rates.

Your Profile

• Several years as a Product Manager / Product Owner in integrated system landscapes (ERP, order management, or finance/transaction systems).
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes, especially invoicing and financial document flows.
• Experience owning system integrations and data flows across system boundaries (APIs, middleware, asynchronous or event-based), including data consistency.
• Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into product requirements and challenge technical solutions. Building and configuring the systems sits with the engineering teams (no hands-on SAP or coding expertise required).
• Stakeholder management across Finance, Tax, Legal, and engineering.
• Fluent English; German an advantage.

Important:

• Functional understanding of invoice processing, tax determination, and fiscal compliance requirements.
• Integration mindset: comfortable reasoning across system boundaries to keep a specialized, business-critical flow reliable.

Nice to have:

• Experience with e-invoicing or fiscalization platforms (e.g. PEPPOL, SAP DRC) or country-specific mandates (Italy SDI, France e-invoicing, SAF-T)
• Experience with order management systems (e.g. IBM Sterling or comparable)
• Experience with middleware or integration platforms (e.g. SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Kafka)
• Exposure to high-volume transaction systems
