About the Role: As Principal Product Designer - Market Data, you will own the design strategy for our Market Data platform—the real-time quotes, charting, watchlists, screeners, and visualization systems that power how millions of people read and act on financial markets across The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, MarketWatch, and Investor's Business Daily. This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who sets direction across our financial brands and is the go-to design expert for how Dow Jones presents market data. Market Data connects across every one of our financial brands, and this role sets the design strategy that spans all of them. Your decisions will establish shared patterns—for quotes, charts, tables, portfolios, and alerts—that these brands build on. You will own the direction for how investors of every kind, from first-time savers to sophisticated professionals, interpret dense, fast-moving data and turn it into confident decisions, balancing the distinct needs of each brand against the consistency and quality users expect wherever they encounter our data.
