What you will do:

• Coordinate cross ‑ functional projects and systems impacting all Back Office areas (e.g., ETRM/Gemstone implementations, internal GEM-EDPR processes).Define, propose and support the implementation of Back Office systems, tools and technical solutions aligned with operational and regulatory needs.
• Hold regular alignment with Regulation and Market teams to anticipate regulatory changes and assess their operational impact.
• Lead knowledge ‑ sharing sessions across Back Office teams to strengthen regulatory and market understanding.
• Review contract drafts from a regulatory perspective, evaluating impacts on operational clauses.
• Facilitate cross ‑ area alignment to ensure consistent implementation of regulatory changes.
• Validate settlement models by geography to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the relevant teams to define timelines and implement market operations, PPA and environmental commodity models, and ensure updates when regulations evolve

What are we looking for

• Degree / Master in Engineering, Business Administration, Physics, Mathematics, or similar is preferred
• Experience in the energy sector, ideally in a similar role, or with strong technical (IT/automation) or financial/analytical skills
• Experience working in international environments is highly valued, as daily interaction with local teams across Europe is part of the role
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (PowerBI included) and familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Copilot).
• Interest in process automation
• Responsible, organized, proactive, motivated and with excellent analytical skills
• Able to handle both internal and external stakeholder's communication
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of Portuguese and Spanish is a plus.
