International People Operations Specialist

Our partner is a fast-growing scaleup based in Barcelona, with an international presence across multiple countries. The company stands out for its innovative approach, combining technology with a physical product to transform the customer experience within its sector.

The Mission: 

We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our partner's team at their HQ in Barcelona. This role will be key in ensuring our employees' satisfaction and engagement while optimizing People operations.

The Role:

• Become HR Operations subject matter expert in your respective countries

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and transitions.

• Administer and update HR systems, maintaining accurate employee records and data integrity.

• Coordinate and support payroll processing, with support of the payroll providers

• Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment.

• Facilitate performance management processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and HR projects.

• Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements to ensure ongoing compliance

What we are looking for:

• Advanced level of English & Spanish, one other language is a plus (French, German, Italian or Dutch) .

• minimum 3 years of experience in People Operations

• Strong knowledge of payroll and labour legislation.

• Experience with HR management systems.

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data.

• Availability to attend the office five days a week (with full flexibility).
