Area Sales Manager Portugal Vigo, Salamanca (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take full ownership of the Portuguese market and drive sustainable sales growth across the region
• Build and strengthen long-term relationships with installers, distributors, EPCs, project developers, and other key industry stakeholders
• Identify new business opportunities, win strategic accounts, and expand existing customer partnerships
• Act as a trusted advisor by providing technical consulting and tailored solutions for photovoltaic mounting systems and related applications
• Deliver engaging product presentations, customer training sessions, and technical workshops that create real customer value
• Lead customer projects from the initial opportunity stage through implementation and long-term account development
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to shape and execute effective sales strategies
• Represent K2 Systems at trade fairs, industry events, and customer meetings throughout the region
• Work closely with colleagues from Inside Sales, Technical Support, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure customer success
• Maintain reliable sales forecasts, activity reports, and valuable market intelligence
• Contribute to exceptional customer satisfaction while supporting the long-term growth of the business

YOUR PROFILE

Professional Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field
• 5+ years in technical sales, business development, or field sales
• Proven success with technical/engineered products
• PV industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of steel/aluminum structures is a plus
• Strong technical understanding of engineering, mechanical, or renewable energy solutions
• Experience managing customer projects and stakeholders

Additional Requirements

• Native Portuguese, fluent Spanish, and strong English skills
• Additional languages are a plus
• Based in Spain, ideally with strong access to Portugal and an established regional network
