The Ritz-Carlton Abama Resort, Tenerife is looking for a Marketing Trainee to join our team for a 6-month internship , with an ideal start date of October 1st .

This opportunity is designed for university students who are looking to develop their professional experience in the field of luxury hospitality and marketing , within an international environment focused on service excellence.

Your Role

As a Marketing Trainee , you will support the Marketing department in the execution of marketing and communication initiatives, contributing to positioning The Ritz-Carlton Abama as a leading luxury hospitality destination. You will have the opportunity to learn from industry professionals while participating in projects aimed at promoting the resort, enhancing the guest experience, and strengthening our brand image.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the planning and execution of online and offline marketing campaigns.
• Assisting in the creation and adaptation of content for social media, websites, newsletters, and other communication channels.
• Providing support in updating and maintaining promotional and marketing materials.
• Monitoring market trends, competitors, and best practices within the hospitality and tourism industry.
• Assisting in the coordination of photo shoots, video productions, and promotional activities within the resort.
• Supporting the organization and management of events, brand activations, and guest experiences.
• Preparing basic reports and collecting metrics related to marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Maintaining up-to-date departmental databases and documentation.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure the successful implementation of marketing and communication initiatives.
• Applying The Ritz-Carlton's standards of quality and excellence in all projects and communications.

Under the guidance of the team, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real professional environment and develop essential skills in marketing, communications, branding, event management, data analysis, and luxury hospitality.

• Basic knowledge of design tools, content creation, or digital marketing platforms will be considered an advantage.
• Confidence and fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Knowledge of additional languages will be considered a plus.
• Previous experience in marketing, communications, events, tourism, or customer service will be an asset.

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
• Internship placement must be mandatory or officially recognized by the university, as applicable.
• Availability to complete a 6-month internship.
• Preferred start date: October 1st.
• Genuine interest in luxury hospitality, tourism, and marketing within the hospitality industry.
• Fluent Spanish and English language skills.
• Ability to thrive in an international and multicultural environment.
• Professionalism, responsibility, and strong attention to detail.
• Valid work authorization for Spain.

Internship Terms and Benefits

We offer two compensation options:

Option A

• Accommodation provided by the company.
• €300 net per month.

Option B

• No accommodation provided.
• €500 net per month.

Additional Information

• Meals are provided in the employee dining room during working hours only.
• Administrative trainees are not provided with a uniform; professional business attire in accordance with the hotel's grooming standards is required.
• Laundry service for uniforms is available for applicable departments.
• All benefit and bonus programs are subject to the company's individual regulations. Applicable tax and social security laws apply, and any required deductions will be managed through payroll adjustments. There is no legal entitlement to such programs, and the employer reserves the right to modify the offering at any time.
