Staff Fullstack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute the product roadmap.
• Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end to end.
• Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested full-stack code.
• Establish engineering best practices and help build a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture.
• Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to improve the product.
• Own architecture, mentor engineers, and raise overall team effectiveness.
• Partner with executives and cross-functional teams to define strategy, requirements, and deliverables.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years contributing to system design or architecture.
• Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js on the backend, with required React experience.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, including architecting, deploying, and operating scalable services.
• Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas for performance at scale.
• Solid testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Demonstrated staff-level technical leadership, including architecture ownership and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to partner with executives and cross-functional teams to define strategy, requirements, and deliverables.
• Interest in remaining on a senior individual-contributor track rather than pursuing a near-term executive or management path.
• A track record of stable, sustained tenures at previous employers.

Benefits

• Salary range of $185,000 to $240,000 USD annually.
