Strategic Projects Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Strategic Projects Manager to drive critical strategic initiatives across our global services organization. This high-impact role works closely with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, lead transformational projects, support strategic decision‑making, and enhance business performance across multiple regions.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and project management expertise to deliver initiatives that accelerate growth, improve operational effectiveness, and strengthen our competitive position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive cross‑functional and global strategic projects to ensure that high performance levels are attained.
• Lead projects to support growth plans across all the regions of Services, including footprint expansion, market assessment, partnerships, digitalisation projects, operational excellence programmes, etc.
• Benchmark and report on competitor business models and major moves.
• Conduct regular peer‑firm analysis (league table).
• Participate and support the management team in the annual strategic planning and budgeting process.
• Summarise industry M&A transactions by region and industry.
• Provide support in leading M&A processes across the Division from ideation to closing.
• Support in drafting Board and Executive Committee documents.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategy, business transformation, corporate development, management consulting, project management, or a similar strategic role.
• Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional projects in a complex global environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are advantageous).
• Strong understanding of business financials, investment evaluation, and commercial performance metrics.
• Experience creating executive‑level presentations and strategic recommendations.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• High levels of accountability, integrity and drive for results.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate key conclusions effectively.
• Collaborative stakeholder management skills with influence across regions and functions.
• QlikView / Qlik Sense experience is a plus.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
