Lead Software Engineer- Spain Remote

Our Team

Our Content Automation Team, part of the Marketing Automation Domain, is responsible for developing and managing the centralized content infrastructure that enables Vista to generate marketing and creative assets efficiently. We are currently working toward our ambitious automation initiative, which seeks to integrate fragmented systems into a unified, AI-driven engine used by marketing and partners to create and deploy personalized materials.

 

What You Will Do

• Be part of a remote motivated team that is passionate about delivering impactful work to delight our customers.

• Work with Product Managers and engineers, to shape the roadmap, build the technical design, lead feature refinement, and drive delivery.

• Leverage AI-native coding practices and tools to accelerate development workflows, enhance code quality, and foster innovation within our engineering stack.

• Write code in our modern stack: C# + .NET Core on the back-end and React.js + Typescript on the front-end.

• Review code, build and run automated tests, deliver documentation, promote technical standards, and do anything else you deem vital to deliver high quality, maintainable, robust code.

• Work in an environment where agile and iterative software development practices are embraced.

• Influence the team's performance and growth through mentorship and collaboration.

• Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as C# or JavaScript, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

• A strong focus on testability, observability, and maintainability, enabling teams to safely guide, review, and validate AI-assisted development.

• A passion for collaborative engineering and pair programming with teammates.

• Openness to receiving peer feedback and a commitment to implementing it.

• A strong drive to continuously learn and advance your professional skills.

• A drive to adopt an AI-native mindset, leveraging advanced AI tools to accelerate development, automate routine tasks, and enhance creative problem-solving.

• Professional fluency in English, both in verbal and written communication.

• Nice to Have

• Familiarity with creating and consuming RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Experience with cloud technologies and building Infrastructure as Code (IaC). as well as and container-based deployments.

• Exceptional collaboration skills and an enthusiasm for working within a cross-cultural team.
