Audit Manager - Zurich Cover-More

About the Role

As an Audit Manager at Zurich Cover-More, you will assess and execute audit activities related to the integration of the newly acquired Travel Guard business, develop audit plans, assess risk, and deliver high-quality audit reports. You will work closely with audit team members across Group Audit and regional technical centres of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based audit activities for the global integration.
• Develop scope, identify key risks, and assess the business environment, including Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
• Prepare and deliver audit reports that highlight business impact, root causes, and improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal audit, risk management, and compliance teams to deliver impactful audit outcomes.
• Contribute to strategic priorities, co-create a leading audit function, and adopt innovative audit approaches and Agile methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or professional qualification (CPA, CIA, CISA, MBA or equivalent).
• 6+ years of internal audit, risk management, or compliance experience in the insurance industry (or +8 years in broader insurance business roles).
• Good understanding of insurance business; experience with travel insurance is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Internal Audit Standards, methodology, and internal control frameworks; strong report-writing skills.
• Extensive experience working in complex, fast-moving, international organizations.
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills; ability to engage stakeholders at all seniority levels.
• Understanding of data, IT and AI (GenAI).
• Excellent project-management skills; ability to organise, prioritise, guide and coach teams.
• Passion for continuous learning and development of self and others.
• Collaborative, flexible, determined, and results-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English; additional European language a plus.
