We are seeking an AOCS/GNC (Attitude and Orbital Control System/Guidance, Navigation and Control ) engineer to join a team of analysts to work on current and future space missions. Airbus Madrid is developping several agile missions which requires cutting edge AOCS algorithms. You will be part of a transnational team over Europe working from Madrid with other Airbus sites in 4 different countries.Reporting to the HO AOCS you will have a stimulating blend of learning and technical work and will gain extensive experience in the design and analysis of space mission GNC, for both small studies and large projects, as well as having the unique opportunity to work on **flight algorithms and flight hardware**.**RESPONSIBILITIES*** You will be expected to perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation activities for mission’s Phases 0 to E* The successful candidate will be expected to perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation activities for mission’s Phases 0 to E* You will produce relevant documentation (design justifications, software requirements for AOCS/GNC algorithms, performance analysis documentation etc.)* You will develop software to a prototype level (non/real time simulator development mostly under Matlab /Simulink but also occasionally also in C or Python).* You will also support reviews and workshops with the customer / partners and stakeholders**SKILLS*** Degree or equivalent in aerospace discipline* 3 - 4 years of experience in a related field* Qualifications with dynamics and filtering/estimation/control engineering content* Experienced in participating within a GNC/AOCS project at some point of the development and validation cycle* Matlab and Simulink experience* Knowledge/research performed in CMG management**WHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?**At Airbus we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
