Trade Marketing Executive Junior

FrieslandCampina Spain is looking for a Junior Trade Marketing Executivewho would be based in Barcelona.

With this role, you will support the development and execution of trade marketing initiatives across the Spanish market. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of consumer behavior, retail dynamics, and FMCG trade marketing principles, with previous experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities – Trade Marketing Spain

• Support the development and execution of trade marketing plans for CdH and OdH, including product launches, seasonal campaigns, and in-store activations.
• Collaborate with Sales and Brand teams to develop promotional materials, POS displays, and shopper marketing initiatives.
• Monitor weighted distribution of product SKUs across key accounts and regions, identifying opportunities to improve distribution and visibility.
• Support the Brand Manager in the implementation and follow-up of segmentation projects.
• Assist in the execution of promotional plans, including pricing initiatives, in-store activations, and digital campaigns.
• Track promotional investments and support ROI analysis in collaboration with Revenue Growth Management and Sales teams.
• Analyze sales performance and promotional results to identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Support the analysis of market trends, shopper insights, competitor activities, and customer performance.
• Collaborate with retailers and distributors to ensure brand visibility and execution excellence at the point of sale.
• Monitor trade marketing budgets and support campaign performance tracking through KPIs and post-evaluation analysis.
• Coordinate with external agencies for the development and production of marketing materials.
• Work with external partners and data providers (Nielsen, Kantar, etc.) to gather consumer, shopper and sell-out insights.
• Prepare presentations, reports and recommendations for internal stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, Sales or Marketing within the FMCG sector.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with market and sales data.
• Good understanding of retail channels, promotional planning, and shopper marketing.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience working with Nielsen, Kantar or similar market data sources is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
