Marketing Communications Specialist

Job Purpose

The Marketing Communications Specialist is the digital marketing expert and advisor for Vendor Marketing Managers, Business Units, and vendors. The role provides guidance on digital marketing strategies, oversees campaign execution across channels, ensures quality delivery, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement through collaboration, creativity, and problem‑solving.

Responsibilities

• Advise stakeholders on digital marketing strategies, channels, and best practices.
• Act as the subject matter expert for digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Coordinate with agencies to create and deliver campaign assets.
• Review and ensure the quality of all digital content before launch.
• Execute campaigns across email, web, social media, and marketing automation platforms.
• Manage end‑to‑end email campaign deployment and optimization.
• Maintain website content, landing pages, and digital promotions.
• Launch and optimize paid social and digital advertising campaigns.
• Monitor performance, analyse results, and provide actionable insights.
• Lead multi‑stakeholder and multi‑vendor marketing initiatives.
• Improve processes through automation and best‑practice adoption.
• Stay current with digital marketing trends, technologies, and AI tools.
• Support teams with practical solutions to marketing execution challenges.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience in digital marketing operations, campaign execution, and B2B marketing.
• Experience managing agencies and multiple stakeholder projects.
• Experience with email marketing, paid social, and digital advertising.
• Knowledge of marketing automation, CRM, CMS, analytics, and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered marketing tools is desirable.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven.
• Proactive problem solver with a solutions‑focused mindset.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, and drive improvements.
• Commercially aware, customer‑focused, and adaptable to change.
