Manage and execute the collection efforts and customer contact for the accounts-receivable portfolio

• Contact customers to discuss and manage payment status and debt levels and resolve queries which may arise (i.e. disputes, complaints)
• Review and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
• Review credit limits and approve limits up to 250K EUR
• Update M3 master data
• Block and unblock customer orders/accounts according to the Credit & Collection guidelines
• Review the initial setup of any collateralisation instruments offered to customers
• Prepare and review accounts receivable reports and alerts
• Monitor payment terms and Commercial compliance to the company's customer payment term policy
• Recommend monthly provisions for specific doubtful debt to our accounting & controls colleagues
• Collaborate with Commercial/Sales and Customer Service in the maintenance and management of their portfolios/customer accounts
• Recommend monthly provisions for specific and doubtful debts to Accounting & Control
• Hand-over and manage any legal reclaim actions against customers in collaboration with company's legal department
• Support Treasury within company's factoring operations

Perfil buscado

• Bachelor degree in Insurance or equivalent by experience
• At least 2 years prior experience in insurance rol
• English - proficient verbal & writing
• Good knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Office and SAP
• Thorough knowledge of the insurance product and market
• Thorough knowledge of general finance and accounting concepts.
• Local language of the country of base and main operations - proficient verbal & writing
