Business Capability Lead – Supplier Collaboration (BCL)

Location: Sant Cugat, Spain.
Reporting to: Sourcing Lead, Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE).
The BCL leads the strategic design, implementation and continuous improvement of the supplier collaboration capability across the global Demand‑to‑Pay landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the DOP roadmap for iCollab and related solutions in alignment with functional partners (DIA Global Supply Chain, RSS Demand to Pay, etc.).
• Identify and implement process automation and digitalisation opportunities in collaboration with Delivery, Category, Digital & Process Management, and RSS Demand to Pay.
• Act as subject‑matter expert; analyse complex process, system and data issues and design solutions that resolve performance or rule concerns.
• Serve as a delegate on corporate initiatives (e.g., ASPIRE program) to support global template adoption and evaluate localized change impacts.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage global requirement alignment, and partner with other BCLs and Business Capability Owners to optimise cross‑functional performance.
• Represent the Business Capability Community of SMEs and DOP in Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and external stakeholder forums.
• Govern the maintenance and delivery of global system process documentation and training materials.
• Resolve matrix conflicts regarding competing project priorities, and deliver KPI updates (cycle times, compliance) to the CoE leadership and DPLT.

Required Qualifications

• University degree in business or life sciences.
• Deep expert knowledge of procurement systems and enterprise architectures (SAP S/4HANA, GEP Smart / GEP Nexxe).
• Extensive experience in designing, managing and continuously improving complex business processes within the Demand‑to‑Pay landscape.
• Strong knowledge of the global procurement technology provider landscape.
• Proven track record of guiding stakeholder groups, managing escalations and leading cross‑functional project teams without direct headcount authority.
• Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution and communication skills.
• Self‑organized, motivated, solution‑oriented mindset with a “Can‑Do” attitude.
• Business‑level fluency in English; German language skills are a strong asset.
• Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) and professional certifications such as CIPS.
• Advanced knowledge of AI application and a strong affinity for AI‑driven digital transformation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and GEP platforms.
• Understanding of AI and Industry 4.0 digital technologies.
• Strong stakeholder and change management experience.
